Kforce Project Manager Consumer in Monterey Park, California

Kforce has a client seeking a Project Manager / Consumer Lender in Monterey Park, CA.Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination and management of assigned workstreams within a large-scale transformation program dealing with technology and data. This person will work closely with the overall project team to coordinate activities and deliverables across Business, Technology, Data, and vendor teams and their respective project managers. Projects are generally highly visible, complex, multi-disciplinary and have significant impact to the Bank's operations, risk management, compliance, regulatory reporting, financial reporting and overall management. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and execution of key workstreams within large-scale, cross-functional programs

  • Serve as a coordinator of the project team responsible for ensuring the project's success and also participates as a contributing team member on the overall initiative

  • Coordinate with the Business, Technical and Data leads to establish clear deliverables for the project that support the plan where needed

  • Drive and develop integrated project plan that represents the appropriate level of detail and task interdependency and aligns project tactics

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 7 years of demonstrated knowledge and direct work experience in project managing large complex technology projects that cross company business lines

  • Experience with Commercial loan originations preferred

  • Minimum 5 years relevant consulting and/or industry and functional experience in Banking or Financial Services

  • Requires direct experience in project leadership and/or management skills

  • Requires strong executive-level communications, presentations and problem-solving skills, ability to work with and influence various stakeholders, manage multiple changing priorities and processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Project and Excel skills

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience

  • Experience with system conversion/core replacement projects preferred
